I was watching AMC the other day and Troy came on. I’ve always liked the movie, even though I’m not the biggest fan of Brad Pitt, but it wasn’t until after the film that I realized how this “refugee crisis” is not unlike the story of the Trojan Horse and Barack Obama appears to be playing two roles – that of Priam and Odysseus. If you’re unfamiliar with the story or the film, I’ll explain the basics of what you need to know:
Troy was thought to be one of the most powerful empires in the world and it’s people were said to be protected by an impenetrable fortress. Priam was the King of Troy. Odysseus was among the Greeks who attacked Troy and it was his idea to build the wooden horse and present it as a gift to the Trojans. The Greeks hid inside the Trojan Horse and against the advice of his son, Priam ordered his men to bring the horse inside the city’s walls. After celebrating their supposed victory, the Greeks emerged from the horse and began attacking Troy from inside it’s walls.
Another quote I’m reminded of, “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Although it may appear that Obama’s just trying to be caring and accommodating by attempting to bring in 10,000 Syrian refugees, I believe there’s another reason he wants to invite these people in. There are those in the media who are focusing on the possible terror threat such an influx of refugees could present. They make good points about how people could claim to be refugees and slip in virtually undetected. In fact, a Syrian operative claimed more than 4,000 trained ISIS gunmen have already been smuggled into Europe. What makes people think they won’t do the same here.
The serious lack of security at the southern border presents the same danger. According to this Breitbart report, “Border Patrol Agent Says Classified Intel Proves Terrorists Infiltrate U.S.” Despite his testimony and that of many others, Obama is still pushing to bring in even more people from South America. In a recent speech to high school students in Iowa Obama was quoted as saying, “This whole anti-immigrant sentiment that’s out there in our politics right now is contrary to who we are.” He’s constantly pushing that it’s the responsibility of Americans to take in all of the world’s struggling people and spread our imaginary wealth and prosperity.
I’ve talked before about the economy and how many people we have out of work. The talking point out there is that there are over 90 million American’s out of the labor force. Politifact rated that comment “mostly false” and says the actual number is closer to 20 million. Regardless of what the real number is, we can’t even support those struggling in our own country, so why would Obama be pushing for all this? The answer is simpler than it seems.
Final Thoughts
Obama wants to fundamentally change America by flooding us with people we couldn’t possibly take care of, even if we wanted to. I don’t have any quotes of him saying that, only his actions. He’s ordered the border patrol to stand down, he’s doubled the national debt to over $18 trillion and went back on nearly everything he promised. No matter what happens as a result of his policies, even an act of terrorism, Obama stands to gain more power. America is on the verge of a serious crisis and the federal government has been preparing for such a disaster for a long time. Research the plans for Continuity of Government and the executive orders related to FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The plan for total dictatorship is already in place, it just needs to be activated. What could possibly happen to allow something like this? Look at what happened after the attacks of September 11th. Before that, could you have ever imagined such a police state? As Rahm Emanuel stated, “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste, and what I mean by that, it’s an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.“
